| TESTIMONIALS |
I met you Saturday at the Leadership Summit at UM. I just wanted to say thank you so much for coming and for the wonderful work you are doing. Your presentation and seminar were my favorite part of the day.
Again, thank you so much for coming to our school. What you had to say was so important and it is so necessary for it to be continually discussed in every environment.
- Bernardita "Beni" Yunis ~The Miami Hurricane - Staff Columnist
"This experience "got inside me". Mr. Vickers then takes the powerful movie, helps to process the
information, and invites the audience to share personal experiences related to hate. Much like a ropes
course, this event provides a platform for exponential growth through an emotional experience, and the
crafted facilitation of Mark Vickers. I was changed by this experience; I know my students were, too.
"The
message of mutual respect and human acceptance is
a message in need of champions such as this program.
I know many of our students were deeply touched by
this powerful and promising image of the past horrors
and future hope of the human spirit." - Daniel Behm Superintendent of Schools Carman-Ainsworth Community Schools, Flint, Michigan "This
program was amazing. I had no idea what to expect
when I walked into the auditorium, but as I sat
through the film I could not help but think how
terrible hate is and what it does to people."
"The program reminded
me of my brother who gets picked on because of his
sexual orientation and how I have to stand up for
him." "I
was moved to tears."

the presentation, I sat in on a 45-minute follow-up classroom
discussion with about 25 students. They shared personal
stories, respected each other gave wonderful insight and

- Peter Delany, Teacher, Basalt High School
"It
was clear that members of our community had much to say
on this topic, but needed an explicit invitation to express
their thoughts. Journey was that invitation."
- Jeanne Noda, Vice President and Dean of Students, Harvey
Mudd College
"I
was very touched by the program as I have been a victim
of religious hate because of I am Jewish."
- Ryan, 10th grader, Pocono Mountain West High School

students were incredibly moved by the program, and he influenced
the Greek community to begin a dialogue regarding hate issues
on our campus. Many students said this was the most meaningful
program they've attended."

"Sometimes
you will go to them [assemblies] and they won’t have
much of an impact, but this one was just amazing"
- Andy, Roaring Fork High School
"It
inspired me and brought me to tears. I have hope that all
those people who see the presentation will have the same

you!”
